A pitmaster's dream lineup! Our grass-fed half beef brisket, pasture-raised baby back ribs, and a bone-in pasture-raised picnic roast. This curated list of local cuts will be right at home in your smoker, but equally as delicious for BBQ or a nice long braise. 

All our beef cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished (no corn, soy, or grain, ever) and humanely handled. We also dry age our beef a minimum of 7-14 days. All of our pork is pasture-raised right here in the Northeast by highly principled farmers. These heritage cross breed pigs forage outdoors on pasture and forest land during the growing season.

  • What are your standards?

    Our partner farmers raise animals outside on pastures that are herbicide and pesticide-free, right here in New England and New York, and never administer antibiotics or hormones. Animals are regularly rotated to fresh pasture to maintain vegetative cover and promote carbon sequestration, and the animals are humanely handled without the use of electric prods or bodily modifications. Our beef is also 100% grass-fed and finished – they receive no grain, no soy, no corn, and no wheat, ever.

  • What’s the difference between this and the Member Share program?

    We wanted to create an easy way for potential members to try Walden products. With Curated Shares, you get a 100% curated share of some of our most popular products, delivered in 1-3 business days. With our member share program, members sign up to receive a monthly or bi-monthly delivery of the same meat offered in the Curated Shares program, plus our range of exciting monthly specials like eggs, milk, and cheese. In the member share program, you can skip or cancel your subscription any time, and shares are hand delivered by our internal delivery team in reusable canvas bags that we pick up each month. We like to think of ourselves as the modern day milkman!

  • Can I get my Share monthly?

    Yes! Each Curated Share is available through our monthly member subscription program. With our share program, you can set it and forget it and receive the cuts of meat you want each month, and each share is hand delivered by Walden’s own network of delivery drivers in a reusable canvas bag, and because those shares are delivered by Walden employees in our reusable share bags, we can keep costs lower through the member Share program.

  • When will my Share arrive?

    We pack and ship Curated Shares within 2 business days after an order is submitted, and when you receive your shipping notification email, you will receive a tracking number to track the status of your Share. We utilize 1 day ground shipping for all of our orders unless it is shipping to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket, which is 2 day ground. In most cases, you’ll receive your share within 48 hours of submitting your order, and you can always call and ask about your Share status at any time!

  • How will my Share ship?

    After dry aging, our meat is custom cut and flash frozen, transported in a below-zero degree freezer, and left for you packed with dry ice, so it will stay cold for several hours on your doorstep. We believe this results in the best tasting meat possible. Curated Shares will ship in a recyclable cardboard box with a compostable inner lining and reusable dry ice bag. We take sustainability seriously and also offset the carbon footprint associated with shipping each Curated Share.

  • Where do you ship?

    We ship Curated Shares to all of New England and New York (including Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket!), plus select zip codes in northern New Jersey.

  • How much is shipping?

    Shipping and delivery is a flat $5 for all Shares. We offer free shipping as a part of our Share Program!
